Underfloor Insulation is one of the easiest and least disruptive type of home insulation ways to improve the warmth and comfort of your home whilst saving energy use and therefore money.

If your property is on a slope then you may also have space underneath your floors to install insulation. Suspended floors are where the floorboards rest over the joists. How Is Underfloor Insulation Installed?
Suspended floors can be insulated by entering either the cellar or crawl space via an existing hatch or creating a new one and laying mineral wool or other types of insulation between the floor joists.
This prevents cold air entering the room above and stops drafts between floorboards. It also prevents any warmth from the room above from sinking.
Does the installation of underfloor insulation make a mess?
